ഏപ്രില്‍ 11 ന് വൈകുന്നേരം അഞ്ചു മണിയ്ക്ക് നേവിഗസിലെ മരിയന്‍ കത്തീഡ്രലിന്റെ താഴ്വരയില്‍ക്കൂടി നടത്തിയ ഭക്തിനിര്‍ഭരമായ കുരിശിന്റെ വഴിയോടെ ആചരണത്തിന് തുടക്കമായി. ഇന്‍ഡ്യന്‍ കമ്യൂണിറ്റി വികാരി ഫാ.ഇഗ്നേഷ്യസ് ചാലിശേരി സിഎം.ഐയ്ക്കൊപ്പം ജര്‍മനിയില്‍ ജോലിയ്ക്കും പഠനത്തിനുമായെത്തിയ യുവജനങ്ങള്‍ സജീവമായി കുരിശിന്റെ വഴിയ്ക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കി.

തുടര്‍ന്ന് മരിയന്‍ കത്തീഡ്രലില്‍ നടന്ന ആഘോഷമായ ദിവ്യബലിയില്‍ റോമില്‍ ഉപരിപഠനം നടത്തുന്ന ഫാ.ലിസ്ററണ്‍ ഒലക്കേങ്കില്‍ സിഎംഐ

ജര്‍മനിയിലെ കൊളോണ്‍ അതിരൂപതയിലെയും ആഹന്‍, എസ്സന്‍ എന്നീ രൂപതകളിലെയും സീറോ മലബാര്‍ സമൂഹം പങ്കെടുത്ത കുരിശിന്റെ വഴിയ്ക്കും മറ്റു ചടങ്ങുകള്‍ക്കും കൊളോണ്‍ ആസ്ഥാനമായ ഇന്‍ഡ്യന്‍ കമ്യൂണിറ്റിയിലെ സെന്റ് മാര്‍ട്ടിന്‍ ബെര്‍ഗിഷസ്ലാന്റ് ഷ്വെല്‍മ് കുടുംബ കൂട്ടായ്മയാണ് ആതിഥേയത്വം വഹിച്ചത്. ഇന്‍ഡ്യന്‍ രീതിയിലുള്ള ലഘുഭക്ഷണവും ഒരുക്കിയിരുന്നു.

തിരുക്കര്‍മ്മാചരണത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തവര്‍ക്ക് കുടുംബകൂട്ടായ്മ പ്രസിഡന്റ് മേഴ്സി തടത്തില്‍ നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞു. മേഴ്സിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ മേരിമ്മ അത്തിമൂട്ടില്‍, അമ്മിണി മണമയില്‍, പുഷ്പ്പ ഇലഞ്ഞിപ്പിള്ളി, ബ്ളസി ആന്റണി, അലീന അല്‍ഫോന്‍സ്, ഡെറിന്‍ ബെന്നി, എബി ടോം, നെല്‍സന്‍ ജോസ്, അലന്‍ സഖറിയ, ആല്‍വിന്‍ സാജു എന്നിവര്‍ പരിപാടികളുടെ നടത്തിപ്പില്‍ പങ്കാളികളായി. ആണ്ടുതോറും നടത്തിവരാറുള്ള ആചരണത്തില്‍ നിരവധി സന്യാസിനികള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പടെ ഏതാണ്ട് ഇരുനൂറിലധികം പേര്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു.
